BYD will release 3 new cars on August 25! Song L debuts, Leopard 5 Seal hybrid pre-sale
Smart Electric Travel learned that BYD will release three new cars at the Chengdu Auto Show on August 25, among which Song L will make its debut, and the Seal DM-i and the Equation Leopard 5 will be pre-sold. BYD Song L is positioned as the B-class flagship hunting SUV, built on the e-platform 3.0, equipped with the Yunnian body stability control system. The Seal DM-i is the original destroyer 07, with a similar appearance to the Seal, and the front intake grille is changed to a semi-closed design. The Equation Leopard 5 adopts a non-bearing body structure, equipped with a new hybrid platform DM-o and Yunnian-P chassis technology, and the maximum power of the system exceeds 500kW.
Song L
The Song L is equipped with a front closed grille with a trapezoidal air intake below, eliminating the large-size blade air intake of the original concept car; the side is equipped with a frameless door and a hidden door handle, the A-pillar part is blackened, and the bottom is equipped with 19/20-inch wheels. The rear is equipped with a through light set, the two-wheel drive version adopts a ducktail shape, and the four-wheel drive version provides an electric rear wing.
Song L is equipped with BYD CTB battery body integration technology, intelligent electric four-wheel drive and Yunying intelligent body control system. The two-wheel drive version is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous single motor with a maximum power of 150kW/230kW; the four-wheel drive version is equipped with dual motors with a maximum power of 380kW.
SEAL DM-i
The overall size of the Seal DM-i is one lap larger than the Seal, and the length is more advantageous than the Han DM-i, but the wheelbase is 2 cm shorter than the two cars (both 2920mm), and the rear space is expected to be similar. The new car uses a lot of design elements of the Ocean-X concept car. The front horizontal grille adopts a borderless design; the rear is equipped with a through light group and hidden exhaust.
The SEAL DM-i features a new color and material dashboard with wood grain trim, 31-color ambient lights, W-HUD head-up display + 10.25-inch full LCD meter + 15.6-inch floating central control screen. The seat is designed with dual color matching and supports multiple electric adjustments.
The SEAL DM-i is equipped with a 1.5L high-efficiency engine for Xiaoyun plug-in mixing and a 1.5Ti high-efficiency engine for Xiaoyun plug-in mixing. Equipped with a blade battery, the NEDC operating life is 121km and 200km respectively. The 0-100km/h acceleration time is the fastest 7.9s, and the power loss fuel consumption is as low as 3.9L/100km.
Equation Leopard 5
The Leopard 5 front horizontal air intake grille is embedded with the brand logo, the upper and lower double-layer through-type light strips are connected to the LED light groups on both sides, and the front and rear front/rear bumpers have large approach and departure angles. The side is equipped with traditional door handles, pedals and a floating roof. The tailgate adopts a flat open design and is equipped with an external spare tire.
The Leopard 5 car is equipped with a large area of leather coating and a through-the-center console design. It is equipped with a full LCD instrument + large-size central control screen + 50-inch AR-HUD + co-pilot entertainment screen. It provides L2-level intelligent driving assistance and supports APA automatic parking, DMS driver fatigue monitoring and other functions. In addition, the new car is also equipped with Divalet music cockpit, Flink intelligent cockpit, active fragrance system, car compressor heating and cooling refrigerator, streaming media rearview mirror and other configurations.
The Leopard 5 adopts a non-bearing body + double wisharm independent suspension, is equipped with a 1.5T high-power engine, supports electric low-speed four-wheel drive, the front drive is 200kW off-road exclusive longitudinal assembly, and the rear drive is 285kW powertrain. Both are integrated with electronic differential locks. The maximum power of the system is 500 + kW, and the maximum torque of the system is 760N · m.
